Illustration for 'Next Door Magazine'. I produced this and several other pieces for the publication as part of being their featured artist of the month.

Character designs for the licensing brand Withit World. I produce several illustrations and designs for this brand. These particular designs were part of a spin-off series, involving a more three-dimensional, expressive asthetic.

Personal work. 'School Play' illustration. The costumes may not be inspired by any real school plays I know of, but the audience certainly is.

More illustrative work for 'Next Door Magazine', with a vague recession theme running through it.

A wedding present for fellow artists Garth and Ginny Jones. And of course Babu.

Final pieces created for 'Next Door Magazine', depicting two very different portraits.

Concept art for animated T.V series 'Kukani'. These were part of a series of character designs and re-designs, originally much more colourful and aimed at a younger audience. These particular images formed an experiment involving two tones to shape atmoshpere and mood.

These cards were part of a pitch for Sutton Council to produce a "Top Trumps"-style game that would teach young children about anger management. The monster-creatures on the boy and girls arms are visual representations of their emotional state. The girls higher 'Anger Control' rating means her creature is more placid and peaceful.

These chaps were early designs for the Monster Mirror short film, found in the Animation section.

This is a character design for a long-gestating short film idea of mine about a zoo-keeper. His design has since undergone many more changes. More on the zoo film will be posted in the near future.

This is how my 'Cop In Rain' illustration began life. He's made up several different elements pieced together.

This is a section for personal and professional pieces which, for various reasons, I didn't feel fitted into the other sections of the site.

This was an experimental piece I created as a way of playing with colour and composition. I wanted to illustrate something fragmented and 'busy' to communicate a feeling of frustration.

This is a composition of illustrations that made up a theme running through the previous iteration of my site. I wanted to have a selection of everyday objects populating the page, each drawn in my style. Now that the site has moved on, I wanted to keep them on in some spirit.

This was an illustration to a story I was writing some time ago. It depicts one of the main locations in the story; a sort of fantasy pub. Here I was working with a much washier, looser aesthetic than my usual clean, bold-lined style, because I felt at the time it served the storytelling process better.

Once upon a time these guys were going to make up a whole monster-band. Sadly the image was never finished. Maybe one day they will all make beautiful music together...

These are more images I've created for the brand Withit World, in their more traditional style. The company licenses out each character to varying manufacturers, from t-shirts to pencil-cases.

These cutesy creatures were part of another off-shoot of Withit World, this time for a soft, greetings-card-friendly (since that's where they were going to end up) image.

These sassy ladies were part of a pitch to Virgin Atlantic. The aesthetic was reaching for a 'Mad Men' art style. The pitch was produced under Brighton-based animation studio Persistent Peril.

This was an early draft of a personal logo re-design. I'm still figuring out its place in the world, so for now it can live here. The colour scheme and shapes used are a continuation of my experimental love affair with fragmented imagery and clean lines.

Idents commissioned by ITV 2 for the company 'Tasty Bingo', on which I animated and helped to design. These animations were produced as part of a series of shorts by Artillery Design Ltd.

A clip from animated music video to the single 'Breathe' by Mindlover. I created the music video from the designs and storyboards up. It tells the story of a lone astronaut seeking to escape a crumbling space-station which is slowly leaking air, and the problems he encounters along his escape route.

The music is 'Journal For Plague Lovers' by The Manic Street Preachers.
